Because this Company wants to have a bigger control over the Inventory items, we have to create a good structure of the Inventory tree. We start with defining the Sauces group. We define the Measurement and Default Income Type so all groups deriving from this one will automatically get the same data.
After defining all of the groups, we end up with the following structure:
And after defining all of the Items; which are by the way very similar to the Item Groups, we get this list when selecting the top of the tree:
So, at a glance you could see what is the current state of the Company's Items on stock. Also by selecting a specific group you could filter only to items belonging to that group:
